Participate in a Volunteer Internship

4—12 weeks

Serious participants, with strong English conversation skills learn about the American business culture in a professional nonprofit setting.

Select a specific career interest and the location of the internship. They are introduced to the American culture and English language by living with host families and to the American business culture . Positions and responsibilities vary; participants volunteer 20-40 hours per week.

PARTICIPANTS: High School graduates, 18 years & older with excellent English- speaking proficiency, high school graduate pursuing college studies  

LODGING: Reside with volunteer host family or alternative lodging available upon request.

TRANSPORTATION: Intern is responsible for transportation to and from the internship with assistance from the local coordinator.

MEALS: Meals are provided in the host family home. Lunches and other meals consumed outside of the home are the participant's responsibility

ASSISTANCE: Local coordinators conduct homestay and business orientations.     Staff provides assistance 24/7.
